Dan Boulton is an independent commercial director and photographer.

He’s a self-taught, DIY, internet kid who got his first crack at high-end commercials after getting his foot in the door of one of advertising’s biggest agencies as an apprentice.

This opportunity allowed him to work on many award-winning campaigns, establishing himself as a prolific and self-assured creative very early in his career. Making work for TV, Print, Social and everything in between.

He enjoys creating unusual short films and music videos and is constantly writing TV shows and films that he hopes to pitch to you in an elevator.

He seamlessly transitions from moving image to stills, working with large crews or handling everything himself.

His body of work spans from beautifully crafted to gritty and absurd, always depicted with his sharp eye for punchy cinematic imagery.
